Emma Watson, the actress who played Hermione Grange in Harry Potter movies, has been busy being out and about with a new man in her life. She was spotted kissing a blond at the after party of the Empire film awards. There were many celebrities at the Carbon Club in Marble Arch but the couple only had eyes for each other.

 The man was called Jay and he worked in the finance industry. The couple proceeded to a separate section of the club to continue their romance. Emma and Jay left the club separately in different cars. Previously, Emma was dating Razorlight lead singer, Johnny Borrell. Her parents, Chris and Jacqueline Watson, were rumored to have objected to their relationship.

Kamal Hasan teams up with Walt Disney

 

Actor Kamal Haasan will now join hands with the Walt Disney Productions, who are expected to produce his forthcoming film ‘Marma Yogi’.

Walt Disney Productions, which recently tied up with Yash Raj Films for a full-length animated feature film called ‘Roadside Romeo’, wants to expand its operations across the country. So they have decided to start a venture with the versatile actor cum filmmaker.

The Kamal-Walt Disney venture will be co-produced by Bharath Bala, who produced A. R. Rahman’s patriotic music video Vande Mataram. ‘Marma Yogi’ will also bring Kamal and Rahman together after a long gap.

’Marma Yogi’ will be a period film, set in the seventh century, which will have erstwhile Bollywood heartthrob Hema Malini.

Kamal and Hema Malini had earlier teamed up in ‘Hey Ram’. Asin, the heroine of ‘Dasavadharam’, will play a key role. The film will probably be directed by Kamal Haasan.

‘Marma Yogi’ is said to be one of the costliest films ever made in India with a budget of Rs. 90 crore. Kamal will shortly go to the US to discuss the production of this film, which is slated to be shot in Thailand. The shooting might get started by April .

Dravid and RP will come back

Anil Kumble, Rahul Dravid, VVS Laxman, Sourav Ganguly, RP Singh and VRV Singh have been passed fit for the upcoming Test series against South Africa, which starts on March 26 in Chennai.

The fitness tests took place over the last few days at the National Cricket Academy in Bangalore, and were held under the supervision of Paul Chapman, the physical conditioning coach, and Paul Close, the physiotherapist. Each of the six players declared fit underwent a medical examination, bleep test, body strengthening and fielding practice.

Among the players declared fit, only Dravid and RP had injury niggles. Dravid had suffered a finger injury during the Test series in Australia while RP had missed the CB Series due to a hamstring injury he picked up mid-way through the fourth Test in Adelaide. Dravid told Cricinfo that his injury had healed, while RP said he would return to action in the Deodhar Trophy from March 14. The other players also underwent the routine Tests, as according to the new rules of the Indian board, the players who have been out of action for a month need to prove their fitness at the NCA ahead of any series.

Pankaj Singh, meanwhile, looks doubtful for the South Africa series, having been advised three weeks’ rest to recover from a hip strain. Pankaj had been selected in the Test squad for Australia but only featured in the tour games.

The findings of the tests were sent by the NCA to the BCCI.

India’s concerns, though, would be over the members of the side that were in Australia for both the Tests and ODIs, with Sachin Tendulkar, Ishant Sharma, Harbhajan Singh, and Yuvraj Singh advised rest for two to three weeks by John Gloster, the outgoing Indian team physio.

The selection of India’s squad for the first two Tests against South Africa has already been postponed from March 9 to March 17, with chief selector Dilip Vengsarkar wanting the players who returned immediately after the Test series in Australia to take part in the Deodhar Trophy, which commences on March 14.

Get Backers is one of my favorite anime shows. There are two main characters in this show. They are Ginji and Ban Mido (my fav.). Ban Mido, the one who is the best when it comes to fight. According to many others in this anime, he is a genius in battle. These two form the G and B of the GetBackers. Their work is to get back what the client loses. They don’t have luck with money and even though they solve the case they don’t get paid for that. Dr. Jackal is a great fighter and always likes to kill his opponents until he gets some word of advice from the soft and funny Ginji. Ban Mido has the special power with which he can make his opponent who sees his eyes to see a dream which lasts for one minute in real world. Thats the Evil Eye and he also has another power which is called the snakebite. Ginji is the lightening lord and can generate electricity from his body. He transforms into a more powerful man when his emotions go out of control.

I also like Dr. Jackal who has small knifes inside his body and he can control them even when they are in air. He likes to fight Ban and Gijni (in transformed state) more than other fighters. Aishwarya Rai thinks she has put on weight

Actress Aishwarya Rai is said to be on a weight losing spree as she prepares for her next lot of films – Shankar’s Robot and Mani Ratnam’s next.

The actress is apparently on a strict diet and exercise regime as she wants to get back in to shape – the way she was before marriage.

“Ash thinks she has put on a lot of weight after the wedding. So she is working very hard as she wants to go back to her earlier shape and weight. She is going to the gym regularly and is on a very strict diet,” says a close friend.

And it’s not just the Bachchan bahu who is on a weight loss mission. She has also roped in hubby Abhishek Bachchan.

“Abhishek has also put on some weight recently. He wants to get back into shape and in fact build some muscle. He wants to have a six pack ideally. Right now, with him filming away from home he hasn’t been very regular with his work outs. But Ash is keeping a tab on his food. She regularly checks in to see what he is eating and whether he is eating on time. So this way the two of them are working towards achieving their goal,” says the friend.

Aishwarya and Abhishek are to begin work on Mani Ratnam’s as yet untitled project from September. It is said to be an intense love story and quite different from Ratnam’s usual films.

“Ash and Abhishek want to look very fit in the film. They want it to be as successful as Guru. And comparisons are going to be natural so they want to be sure that they are ready for their look in the film,” adds the source.
